Hillary Clinton is set to release a weekly midterms-focused podcast with journalist Kara Swisher, breaking down the pivotal race and its aftermath, Vox Media said Tuesday.

The limited-series podcast, “High Stakes,” will run Wednesdays starting this week, Vox said. The series will run as part of Swisher’s podcast for New York magazine, “On with Kara Swisher.”

“I don’t think the stakes for our country and the world have ever been higher than they are in November,” Clinton said in a statement published by Vox. “People are hungry for real conversation about what’s happening in our democracy and what it will mean for their families, and I can’t think of a better partner for that than Kara. There will be some discussion, some debate, and hopefully a lot of laughter.”

Clinton, a former secretary of state and the Democratic nominee for president in 2016, has argued on podcasts and at events in recent months that Democrats must seize upon a difficult political environment for Republicans to regain control of Congress.

In Vox’s statement, Swisher called Clinton a “global icon” who “doesn’t hold back.” Jim Bankoff, Vox Media co-founder and CEO, said Swisher and Clinton are “forces of nature” with “undeniable chemistry.”

Clinton hosted the interview podcast “You and Me Both with Hillary Clinton” from 2020 to 2023, featuring political and cultural guests including actress Barbra Streisand and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-New York).

Clinton appeared as a guest host in August on Swisher’s other podcast, “Pivot,” where she spoke about topics including redistricting, the Michigan primaries and qualities needed in Democrats running for president in 2028.
