President Donald Trump has backed Georgia Lt. Gov. Burt Jones (R) in a crowded Republican field to succeed term-limited Gov. Brian Kemp (R). Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and billionaire businessman Rick Jackson are also running — and Jackson has upended the race with more than $80 million in ad spending.

The Democratic field includes former Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and Geoff Duncan, who served as lieutenant governor as a Republican but became a vocal Trump critic and ran as a Democrat this year. State lawmakers and a former county official are also running.
