After unleashing $260 million in 2024, America PAC is beginning to spend again.
Elon Musk’s super PAC, which spent over $260 million to back President Donald Trump and other Republicans in 2024, has entered the midterms. The group, known as America PAC, just reported its first major spending of 2026. All of the money supported Republicans.

The group reported $800,000 in spending, almost all of it going to Senate races, according to federal campaign finance filings. The biggest beneficiary was Ken Paxton, who is facing Democrat James Talarico in Texas’s U.S. Senate race and received $250,000 from Musk’s group. The super PAC also spent to support Sens. Susan Collins in Maine and Jon Husted in Ohio, alongside giving for a dozen other Senate and House races.
Musk, the world’s richest man, has already personally spent over $90 million on the midterm elections, according to a Washington Post analysis of disclosures. Most of that went to America PAC, which also spent to influence a Wisconsin judicial election in 2025. Musk has also given $10 million each to super PACs backing Republican House and Senate candidates.
