White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, who had been receiving treatment for breast cancer, said Wednesday that she is cancer-free after a recent checkup.

“After a medical appointment at the Mayo Clinic this week, my pathology results came back clear,” Wiles wrote on X.
The 69-year-old Wiles, a key confidante of President Donald Trump who has been credited with helping execute his agenda, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She had been continuing to work at the White House while undergoing treatment.

Trump announced Wiles’s diagnosis six months ago, with administration officials saying that her cancer had been detected early.
“The prognosis there is excellent, beyond excellent,” Trump said in March.
Federal officials on Wednesday celebrated Wiles’s update.
“Our prayers are answered!” Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wrote on X.
